Sea cucumber, extracted in the seas of the Yucatan Peninsula in southeastern Mexico, known as Ballenato or Ballenatus by its scientific name, Isosthicopus badionotus. This product is extracted by permission of the Government of Mexico through CONAPESCA only within the season determined by the competent authorities.

Sea cucumber Fuscus, by its name Isosthicopus fuscus. This species is protected by the international book of CITES as endangered fauna. It is extracted with authorization from Mexican Government through SEMARNAT and PROFEPA only on the coast of Sonora and Baja California.

The sea cucumber Ocho Picos, is extracted in the peninsula of Baja California, and although little known, because it belongs to the Isosthicopus family its of the highest quality sea cucumbers. Its scientific name is Isosthicopus paravimensis, and is regulated by Mexican Government through SAGARPA and CONAPESCA.
